Godox LED500W Overview

Designed to be portable yet versatile, the LED500W Daylight LED Video Light from Godox provides a smooth and soft light that is well-suited for video use. This model is daylight-balanced, offering a color temperature of 5600K that varies ±300K depending on your settings. Dimming settings range from 10% all the way up to full power, and can be adjusted on the on-board LCD via two buttons and a dial.

The LED500W is rated for output up to 2900 lux at 1m, drawing a maximum of 32W of power during use. Used for support is a yoke with a standard light stand receiver and locking knob, and the design also incorporates a built-in filter slot for easy light manipulation. For powering the panel, an AC adapter is included for connecting to a wall socket, while those looking to take the light outdoors can run it on two optional Sony L-series batteries.

Nanlite LitoLite 5C Overview

With a 4.2 x 2.4 x 0.9" form factor that actually fits in the palm of your hand, and weighing just 4.8 ounces, the LitoLite 5C RGBWW Mini LED Panel from NanLite doesn't hint at the wealth of advanced technology hiding within its unassuming exterior.

The panel has a broad white light range of 2700 to 7500K, to meet any ambient light challenge, match other fixtures, or for creative expression. The panel's high CRI/TLCI ratings of 95/97 are clear indicators of advanced accuracy in rendering colors. The light is dimmable too, from 0 to 100%, and while you can make these adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also make them wirelessly via Bluetooth and your smartphone by downloading a free app. But the 5C has additional color control technology (RGBWW). The fully tunable fixture has hue, saturation and intensity control to allow even the subtlest tweaking of the 360° color spectrum offering access to literally millions of colors. It also has magenta / green adjustment for further control. The LitoLite has more surprises with special effects that include Emergency Services Vehicle, Cop Car, Flame, Candlelight, Lightning Storm, an SOS Signal, an Explosion, Welding, and Camera Flashes.

The LitoLite 5C is ready for cordless operation anywhere thanks to a built-in Li-Ion battery that will give you 1.5 hours of runtime at full power and much longer at partial power. Another piece of good news is that it charges via USB, so you can power up with your computer, laptop, power bank, or wall adapter. The 5C can be mounted using its 1/4"-20 female threads or by powerful magnets that allow you to mount it on most metal surfaces.

Deity V.LAV Lapel Microphone Overview

The Deity Microphones V.Lav is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone offering transparent audio capture and broad device compatibility for videographers, YouTubers, and sound recordists. With a built-in microprocessor that automatically configures its TRRS connector to work with most 3.5mm mic jacks, the V.Lav is compatible with a variety of DSLRs, camcorders, mobile devices, and portable audio recorders. Its 16.4' attached cable allows shooting at a natural distance.

The pre-polarized condenser capsule features an omnidirectional polar pattern for consistent response to sound from all directions, making it more forgiving to improper mic placement. The 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range allows accurate source reproduction without sonic coloration. Use the provided foam windscreen to minimize plosives, or attach the supplied faux fur windshield to reduce wind noise in outdoor environments. The V.Lav includes a tie clip and convenient carrying pouch.

Note: The V.Lav is not compatible with Sony's UWP wireless systems or the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K.

Auto-Configuring 3.5mm Connector

The V.Lav incorporates a microprocessor that automatically adapts its 3.5mm TRRS connector to work with most 3.5mm microphone jacks. Out of the box, the V.Lav is compatible with DSLRs, camcorders, smartphones and tablets (late-model iOS devices require Apple's Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter), portable audio recorders, bodypack transmitters, and laptops.

16.4' / 5mAttached Cable

With a 16.4' / 5m cable, the V.Lav offers plenty of slack to run the mic into a camera on a tripod. Simply clip it onto your clothes, plug it into your device's microphone or headset jack, then start recording.

Clear, Natural Sound

By employing an omnidirectional condenser capsule, the V.Lav picks up sound equally from all directions. In addition, its flat frequency response is optimized for coloration-free audio capture.

Long Battery Life

The V.Lav uses two LR41 cell batteries, enclosed in a CNC aluminum housing along with the microprocessor chip. Battery power is only used when the V.Lav is determining how to adapt to the microphone input you've plugged it into. After the V.Lav has adapted to your device, the microphone capsule then uses the voltage from your device, and the LR41 batteries are put back to sleep.

Convenient Accessories

The included foam windscreen and faux fur windshield minimize wind noise and vocal plosives. The cord organizer allows for clean cable management, and the rugged carry case is perfect for safely carrying the entire kit.
