Freewell FW-OA-STD Overview
The Freewell Standard Day 4-Filter Set for DJI Osmo Action Camera includes three ND filters that darken the image a bit and a CPL filter that prevents unwanted reflections.
The ND filters help you capture clearer and more accurate outdoor images. The included ND4, ND8, and ND16 filters cut the amount of light hitting the camera sensor by 2, 3, and 4 f-stops, respectively, for overcast, cloudy, and normal daylight conditions. The reduction also allows you to get creative by letting you use larger apertures or longer shutter speeds, which is why the filters are especially useful for long-exposure photography.
The CPL filter helps avoid reflections from naturally reflective outdoor surfaces, such as windows, bodies of water, and snow. All the filters are made with premium optical glass and are multicoated with 16 layers of coating for waterproof, dustproof, scratchproof, and oilproof quality. They feature an aluminum frame and have an efficient screw-on system for easily attaching and removing them.
