Can you do Duty Free on everything?
Yes, we can do Duty Free on all items in our store/ website. Contact us to find out more and what we can offer depending on what you are buying. It is good to keep in mind that Duty Free is collected in the Airport after you have checked in and are in Departures, so the item will need to be able to go on the plane with you as hand luggage.
How much will I save?
Duty Free means you will not be paying GST on your item. There is an airport surcharge we have to pass on, so we recommend you contact us with what you want to purchase to find out the final cost and savings.
How soon before my flight do I need to make the purchase?
3 days before your flight is what we recommend. We can only send the item(s) to the airport 48 hours before your flight, so as long as you have made payment 3 days before we will be able to get the products to the airport for you to collect.
What do you need from me?
We will need a few travel documents from you. Your passport number, your full legal name (as printed on your passport), nationality, your flight time/ date and flight number.
Can I do duty free if I am flying out of another airport that isn't Auckland Airport? (eg, Christchurch Airport)
Unfortunately not, this service is only available through Auckland Airport. So you will have to be flying out from Auckland Airport. You can still do it if you fly from (for example) Christchurch to Auckland and then fly out of NZ from Auckland Airport.
Can I buy duty-free if I am arriving in New Zealand from another country?
No, you have to be leaving New Zealand as that is where the pick up point is. You cannot buy duty free if you are arriving in NZ from another country. You have to be leaving New Zealand.
