Overview

The BirdDog X1 30x PTZ 3-Camera Kit with Hard Case & KBD PTZ Controller (Black) is a complete multi-camera PTZ setup for broadcast, streaming and virtual production: three X1 PTZ cameras with 30x optical zoom and AI auto framing, all run from one KBD PTZ Controller with a built-in screen.

The controller shows up to four cameras at once and switches between them with a single key, so one operator can run the whole show, and Camera Settings Sync keeps every camera looking the same. A hard case with a foam insert holds all three cameras, so the kit travels safely between venues, sets up quickly on arrival and packs down fast after an event.

Three X1 Cameras

Each 1080p60 X1 combines a 30x optical zoom with AI auto framing, so it frames tight shots from a distance and keeps subjects in view on its own. Colour matrix, API and Kelvin controls match the cameras to each other, and they perform well in low light. They connect over Wi-Fi 5 or PoE Ethernet with NDI HX3, plus HDMI and USB/UVC outputs for Teams and Zoom, and a halo tally, 2.93" e-ink display and built-in NDI decoder for return feeds complete each one.

KBD PTZ Controller

The KBD PTZ Controller's built-in 1280 x 720 display shows up to four cameras at once, and a single key pairs or switches between them. Camera Settings Sync copies settings from one X-series camera to another, tally borders support live switching with TriCaster or vMix, and it speaks NDI HX2 and HX3, VISCA-IP, ONVIF, RS-232 and RS-422. It is built from ocean-bound plastics and recyclable aircraft-grade aluminium.
