Overview
The BirdDog PLAY 4K NDI Player turns any HDMI screen into a viewer for your NDI network. Connected over Gigabit Ethernet, it finds every NDI stream automatically and shows them as thumbnails, like a set-top box, so you pick a source and play it at up to UHD 4K60. It supports NDI 5, NDI HX2, NDI Remote and NDI Bridge, works with CEC remotes you already have, and fits behind a TV on its magnetic base.
Easy Control
The interface works like a familiar media player: browse the thumbnails and select a stream to show it on the screen. Built-in CEC means the TV's own remote can drive it, and an API with RESTful, Crestron, Zoom and Q-SYS support lets installers build it into larger control systems.
Compact Design
At just 85 mm square, PLAY sits on a desk on its rubber ring or clips behind a TV with its magnetic base. It is powered over USB-C from a 5 V adapter (sold separately), and with a BirdDog Cloud Connect licence it can also view your BirdDog Cloud endpoints from anywhere, with as little as two frames of latency.
