Built for live production, broadcast facilities, technical control rooms, and mobile production systems, it can process up to eight channels of SMPTE 2110 video and convert each stream into a different required standard. Using dual 100GbE QSFP28 interfaces with SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy, the UpDownCross 100G is designed for dependable operation in professional environments where uninterrupted signal flow matters. It supports 10-bit 4:2:2 video with Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 color space support, along with up to 16 channels of embedded audio per IP stream. A front-panel 2.2" LCD, control knob, and buttons provide direct local access for monitoring and setup, while the built-in speaker and headphone output allow immediate audio confidence monitoring without requiring external gear.

For facilities integrating the converter into broader managed systems, the unit also supports external NMOS-based control via RJ45 and local setup or firmware updates over USB-C.
