Overview

The Sony 256GB SF-M Tough Series UHS-II SDXC V60 Memory Card takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support advanced DSLR functions such as continuous shutter bursts and rapid shooting, along with raw and JPEG capture and 4K, Full HD, and 3D video. It achieves maximum read speeds of up to 277 MB/s and maximum write speeds of up to 150 MB/s, and its V60 speed class rating guarantees minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s.

Built with a rugged, one-piece molded design, the Tough Series card withstands drops, deep water immersion, dust, and temperature extremes, and is up to 18 times stronger than standard SD media. A ribless, write-protect switchless construction removes common points of failure, and downloadable File Rescue software helps recover accidentally deleted content.

Rugged, Ribless Tough Card Design

A strong resin-molded, one-piece construction makes this card up to 18 times more resistant to bending than the SD standard (180N compared to 10N), while removing the fragile connector ribs and write-protect switch found on conventional SD cards, parts which are easy to break and can prevent writing.

IP68 Waterproof and Dustproof

The card can be immersed in 5m of water for up to 72 hours and withstands drops of up to 5m, along with dust and temperature extremes from -25 to 85°C, for total protection when shooting in almost any condition.

Fast UHS-II Read and Write Speeds

Maximum read speeds of up to 277 MB/s support fast backup and data transfer, while maximum write speeds of up to 150 MB/s enable longer burst shooting of high-resolution photos and faster buffer clearing. The V60 Video Speed Class rating supports stable 4K recording and high-bitrate video capture, and the extra capacity of this card suits longer shoots between offloads.

Backward Compatible with Standard SD Slots

Designed for UHS-II / V60 compatible devices, the card also works in devices that do not support UHS-II or V60, defaulting to the host device's own speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II V30 or UHS-I U3 (minimum 30 MB/s write), or U1 and Class 10 (minimum 10 MB/s write). In a UHS-I device this card delivers read speeds of up to 95 MB/s and write speeds of up to 90 MB/s.
