Overview

The JJC RM-E2 Infrared Remote Control for Nikon DSLRs, Nikon 1 & Coolpix Cameras, Replaces ML-L3 is a wireless infrared shutter remote that replaces the Nikon ML-L3. It works with cameras that have a built-in infrared receiver, and the range includes many Nikon DSLRs, Nikon 1 models, Coolpix compacts and some film SLRs.

It lets you trigger the shutter without touching the camera, which helps avoid shake on a tripod and is handy for self-portraits and long exposures. At 14.5 g it is light enough to keep in a camera bag or on a keyring.
