Overview

The SmallRig 5281 Camera Cage Kit for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K & 12K is a modular rigging solution designed to add mounting, handling, and accessory expansion options to Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K and PYXIS 12K cinema cameras. Built from durable aluminum and stainless steel, the kit combines a top plate, side plate, baseplate, NATO rails, 15mm rod clamps, cable clamps, and a top handle to support professional camera builds.

Its three-piece design allows the cage components to be used independently or combined into a fuller rig, making it adaptable for handheld, studio, gimbal, and production-cart workflows. Multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, ARRI anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads, cold shoes, QD sockets, HawkLock NATO rails, and rod ports provide flexible mounting for monitors, handles, rod-based accessories, cables, storage, and a dedicated DJI Focus Pro LiDAR bracket.
