Overview
The SmallRig 5957 "HawkLock" Quick Release Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 Mark III / R6 Mark II is a lightweight extension camera cage designed to enhance handheld shooting stability, portability, and accessory expansion. The kit includes a formfitting HawkLock camera cage, a USB-C & HDMI cable clamp, and a HawkLock top handle, while maintaining access to all camera controls and hot shoe.
The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style threads, QD (Quick Detach) ports, and strap slots. HawkLock-style NATO rails on the top and side provide secure attachment for the top handle. The HDMI & USB-C cable clamp prevents cable disconnection, while the top handle provides additional cold shoes and accessory mounting threads. Built-in silicone pads protect the camera from scratches during installation.
Note: Remove side locating blocks before mounting. Not compatible with DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal. Canon R6 Mark II requires the separately available cable clamp 2981B for use with this kit.
