Overview
The SmallRig 5953 "HawkLock" Quick Release Half Cage for Canon EOS R6 Mark III / R6 Mark II / R5 Mark II is a lightweight camera cage that provides robust protection, stability, and extensive accessory mounting options. It maintains full access to all camera controls, the flip screen, card slots, and battery compartment while offering a secure platform for professional shooting setups.
The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style accessory threads, a QD (Quick Detach) socket, strap slots, and HawkLock-style NATO rails for attaching top handles, monitor mounts, or magic arms. The built-in Arca-Swiss quick release baseplate enables seamless tripod or gimbal mounting. Built-in silicone pads prevent scratches and ensure a snug fit.
Note: Remove the side locating block before mounting. Not compatible with DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal. Canon R6 Mark II may require the separately available cable clamp 2981B in certain configurations.
