Overview

The SmallRig 3067 Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Baseplate with Dual 15mm LWS Rod Clamp adds a Manfrotto-style quick release plate, 15mm LWS rod support, and an ARRI-standard dovetail mount to your camera in a single unit. Built from a magnesium-aluminum alloy that's approximately 40% lighter than standard aluminum, it weighs only 269 g while still supporting a full rig build-out.

Manfrotto-Style Quick Release Plate

A quick release plate with rubber padding on top secures your camera without twisting or scratching, and can be released quickly when you need to move between a tripod and handheld shooting.

ARRI Dovetail and Accessory Threads

An ARRI-standard dovetail mount on the base lets you attach the baseplate to a wide range of tripods and camera rigs, while several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads accept additional quick release plates, dovetails, and other accessories.

Dual 15mm Rod Clamp with Riser Pad

The dual 15mm LWS rod clamp uses easy thumb-lever locks to secure separately available rods and mount accessories such as a lens support, matte box, or follow focus motor. A detachable riser pad fits between the base and the quick release mount to bring the lens to the correct height for supports and adapters on 15mm rods.
