Overview

The Sony AC Adapter and Twin Charger For L-Series Batteries is a dual-purpose power accessory that switches, at the flip of a switch, between an AC power adapter and a two-bay charger for Sony's L-Series (NP-F) batteries. A built-in LCD display shows battery life, charging time and total charging time, along with the date of last use and the total number of charging cycles the unit has completed. Four cords are included, an AC power cord, two DK-series connecting cords and a car battery cord, giving photographers and videographers a single accessory that can charge batteries on the bench or power a compatible camera directly through the included dummy battery, whether at a studio outlet or from a vehicle on location.

Fast Dual Battery Charging

The twin charging bay powers up two L-Series batteries at once, with a full charge taking as little as 1 hour 50 minutes and up to around 5 hours 45 minutes depending on charge level and number of batteries loaded. Output to the battery bay is rated at 8.4 VDC and 1.6 A for consistent, reliable charging of Sony L-Series and NP-F cells.

Worldwide Auto-Switching Power Input

An auto-switching 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz input means the adapter runs from mains power without needing a separate voltage converter, while a maximum 15W output at up to 8.4 VDC and 1.8 A keeps a connected camera powered when running from the included dummy battery.

Charge Status at a Glance

The onboard LCD keeps you informed at every stage, displaying remaining battery life, current and total charging time, and even the date of last use. It also keeps a running count of total charging cycles, so you always know how much life is left in your batteries.
