The Tilta Nucleus Nano II Wireless Lens Control System with Power Handle (Kit I) is a professional wireless FIZ control solution designed for demanding cinema and gimbal workflows. Combining the Nano II Handwheel Controller, Power Handle, dual Nano II Lens Control Motor Kits, and a comprehensive range of mounting and power accessories, this kit supports wireless focus, iris, zoom, and VND control across up to four channels for maximum production flexibility.

Designed for solo operators, focus pullers, and advanced camera rigs, the system can be configured for shoulder-mounted setups, monitor-assisted follow focus workflows, or integrated into DJI RS 2 and RS 3 Pro gimbal systems using the optional Wireless Receiver Module. With wireless connectivity, USB-C camera control support, flexible power distribution, and backward compatibility with previous-generation Nucleus systems, the kit adapts easily to a wide range of production environments.

Advanced Handwheel Controller

The Nano II Handwheel Controller features a 1.6" touchscreen interface that displays wireless channel information, Wi-Fi status, battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, standby status, and FIZ parameters. Operators can quickly switch between focus, iris, and zoom controls, set A/B stops, lock the screen, or toggle between auto and manual focus modes. Additional menus provide access to paired motor settings, lens data, and connected camera controls.

Flexible Power Handle Design

The included Power Handle extends operating time using a separately available Sony L-series battery such as the NP-F550 or NP-F570. Integrated USB-C and DC power outputs allow accessories to be powered directly from the handle, while the built-in NATO connector powers the Handwheel Controller when mounted. A cold shoe receiver and 1/4"-20 mounting thread with locating points provide additional rigging flexibility for monitors, handles, and accessories.

Nano II Lens Control Motors

Each Nano II motor uses an offset drive design that reduces pressure against the lens during operation for more stable performance. The included 0.8 MOD gear interfaces with cinema-standard lenses, while included follow focus adapter rings extend compatibility to DSLR and mirrorless lenses. Dual USB-C ports support power input, firmware updates, and daisy chaining multiple motors to a single control source.

Wireless Connectivity and Pairing

The system pairs wirelessly over a 2.4 GHz connection using intuitive onboard controls and color-coded motor assignments. Green indicates iris control, blue represents zoom, purple corresponds to focus, and yellow is used for additional functions. Motors can be automatically calibrated by holding the function button, while E-Z Mode simplifies pairing with compatible control handles.

Camera and Gimbal Compatibility

The system is backward compatible with previous-generation Nucleus-Nano and Nucleus-M motors for seamless integration into existing workflows. Current firmware supports full Bluetooth camera control for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, 6K, and 6K Pro models, along with partial USB-C camera control for select Sony and Canon cameras including the FX3, a7S III, a7R V, ZV-E1, ZV-E10, and Canon R7. With the optional Wireless Receiver Module, users can also integrate the system into DJI RS 2 and RS 3 Pro gimbal setups for wireless gimbal and focus motor control.

Complete Rigging Kit

Alongside the control system itself, the kit includes 15mm rods, rod supports, mounting brackets, follow focus adapter rings, power cables, and accessory adapters to support shoulder rigs, handheld builds, and advanced follow focus configurations directly out of the box.
