Freewell FW-IP15PM-GVK Overview

Content creators can enjoy true creative freedom when using the transformable, 3-in-1 Freewell Genius Smartphone Rig Cage for iPhone 15 Pro Max. All put together, the Genius looks like many other phone cages. However, the cage itself offers an easy tool-free installation with the integrated SnapClamp mechanism and the handles can be removed for additional shooting capabilities. The TriGenius handle converts into a desktop tripod, and the MonoGenius handle extends into a 26 cm-long selfie stick. A huge amount of mount points are available for additional accessories, and the rear of the rig accommodates optional F Series lenses and Freewell magnetic camera filters to augment your iPhone's existing camera system.

Multiple Mounts

Around the rim of the Genius cage is a plethora of mounting options for accessories, in addition to the lens and filter attachment points for the iPhone's lenses. Below is a list of what's available on the Genius cage:

TriGenius Tripod Handle

When detached from the rig, you can open the handle into three legs and use it as a desktop tripod. You can then mount the rig on top using a 1/4" threaded connector. The connector on top of the TriGenius handle, which was used to connect it to the Genius rig, can now be used as an accessory arm. The top cold shoe can be used for an LED fill light or external mic. If you need a second accessory arm, you can always use the top connector on the MonoGenius too.

MonoGenius Selfie Stick Handle

When detached from the rig, the MonoGenius extends up to 10.6 cm for use as a selfie stick. The connector piece that attaches to the Genius rig offers you 360° of rotation, letting you achieve a wide range of shooting positions in both portrait and landscape orientation.

GeniusRemote

This palm-sized remote lets you trigger the iPhone 15 Pro Max's camera shutter or video record button remotely from up to 10 meter away. It conveniently stores within the top of either the TriGenius or MonoGenius handle. When stored and in Full Phone Rig mode, you get the added functionality of having a convenient camera trigger when holding both handles.
