Overview
The SR IEM G4 Stereo Transmitter from Sennheiser is part of their evolution series of wireless systems. It features wideband FM stereo modulation and is designed for use in live stage, theatre, and rehearsal applications as part of a wireless RF monitoring system.
Core Features
The stereo transmitter offers 1680 frequencies tunable in 25 kHz steps, 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 16 compatible frequency presets, and 6 user banks with up to 16 user-programmable frequencies. The receiver's menu-driven backlit OLED display provides information on current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, AF level metering, transmission status, equaliser settings, lock status, and input sensitivity. An auto-lock feature prevents accidental setting changes.
Receivers can be synchronised with the transmitter via an integrated infrared interface. The transmitter includes two electronically balanced XLR/6.35 mm combo sockets, a 6.35 mm headphone output with volume control, an Ethernet port (RJ-45 for remote network-based monitoring), and a 50 Ohm BNC-type antenna input. It has a rugged metal housing and comes with a 12 V power supply and a GA 3 rackmount kit.
Features
- Half-rack stereo transmitter in a full-metal housing with OLED display for full control.
- Easy and flexible wireless synchronisation between transmitter and receiver via infrared.
- Compatible with Sennheiser WSM control software for flexible frequency allocation.
- Up to 16 compatible channels.
- Up to 42 MHz bandwidth with 1680 selectable frequencies, fully tunable in a stable UHF range.
- Transmission Range: up to 100 metres.
- High RF output power (up to 50 mW) depending on country regulations.
