Freewell FW-T1 Carbon Fiber Real Travel Tripod with Ball Head

The FW-T1 Carbon Fiber Real Travel Tripod with Ball Head from Freewell is an ultra-compact and lightweight travel tripod made to be easy to take on location and be a versatile performer once there. It offers a maximum height of 59.1" and a load capacity of 11 lb, yet folds to a compact 16.9" and weighs only 2 lb, making it easy to fit in a backpack or large camera bag. The 5-section carbon fiber legs open and fold with a simple twist and provide a slim diameter. The center column is removable and reversible for low-perspective shooting, and it can separate into a short column when the legs are spread to a wide angle. It features a ballast hook for added stability. The center column can also be removed and paired with one of the tripod legs to form a convenient monopod for situations where a full tripod may be too cumbersome or slow, like when shooting action or wildlife.

The ball head combines the best features of a classic ball head and a pan head, adding a pan handle for smooth panoramic tracking shots when shooting video. The head incorporates an Arca-type quick release set, and the included plate has a built-in smartphone clamp for added versatility.

Other thoughtful additions are two 1/4"-20 accessory mounts on the leg apex and one more on the ball head, making it easy to add a microphone, a monitor, or more for a customized shooting setup. An included Airtag compartment makes it possible to track your tripod location so you always know where it is.
