    This thing is great value for money. It's all metal, save the rubber grip pads. The fit and finish is nice. Maximum gape is around 87mm. You can extend it even wider if you really want to, but it's less firm because you reach the ends of the stabilising rods. Minimum is around 65mm, so too big for something like the 4" iPhones (unless you have a case on). Conveniently, it's spring-loaded for most of its travel. I really can't think of any significant downsides to this thing.
