Overview
The Ninja TX 5.2" Camera to Cloud Monitor/Recorder from Atomos is a 5" on-camera monitor and recorder ideal for any set. It features 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 input/output, Wi-Fi connectivity for streaming and direct upload, a bright 1500 cd/m² touchscreen display, 8K30 raw recording, CFexpress Type B or USB-C recording, RF/Bluetooth timecode sync, a built-in NDI/HX3 license, and built-in codecs such as ProRes RAW/DNx/H.265.

5.2" Touchscreen Display
The 5.2" IPS touchscreen offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a brighter 1500 cd/m² display for rich, accurate color precision, even in broad daylight. It supports 8/10-bit color processing, HDR, Rec. 709 color gamut, and Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus calibration for color-accurate monitoring.

Connectivity
Wireless Features
With AtomX Connect features built in, the Ninja TX offers expanded connectivity. It can be integrated into an NDI environment as a source or receiver, providing high-quality, low-bandwidth video. It includes AirGlu timecode sync over RF or Bluetooth to sync cameras, audio recorders, and monitors.
Cloud Integration
Camera to Cloud
The Camera to Cloud (C2C) workflow allows direct upload of video files from the monitor-recorder to the cloud. It supports progressive upload to ATOMOSphere, Adobe Frame.io, and Dropbox, with all necessary C2C features built in.
Color and Metadata
Comprehensive Color and Metadata
The Ninja TX supports select Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon log formats. Custom 3D LUTs can be uploaded, and HDR conversion to Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision formats is supported. It records raw metadata such as white balance, exposure index, shutter speed/angle, Iris F stop, ISO, gamma, and gamut via HDMI input.
Input/Output
12G-SDI and HDMI Input/Output
HDMI input supports 8K video up to 30 fps, 4K60, and 1080p120. Loop-through passes the HDMI signal to another device. The addition of 12G-SDI supports a wider range of cameras and workflows, with SDI ports supporting loop-through and cross conversion between HDMI and 12G-SDI.

The Ninja TX features a CFexpress Type B slot and dual USB-C recording outputs for ultrafast data transfer rates. USB-C ports are also used for calibration, custom 3D LUT uploads, adding audio devices, and firmware updates.

An L-series battery plate supports NP-F L-series batteries. An optional battery eliminator provides DC power. A USB-C port supports 30W PD power delivery with the included cable.

Comprehensive Monitoring Tools
The Ninja TX offers monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, zoom, zebras, false color, frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, RGB parade, vectorscope, and 3D/1D LUT support. It also provides anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring.
