Meking MZ-series Heavy Duty Light Stands Overview

The MZ series light stands are Meking’s heavy-duty light stands which can take up to much larger and more powerful lights. These light stands are built to hold loads of up to 5kg (3800FP) or 4kg (4800FP) and extend up to a massive 3.65m (3800FP) or 4.81m (4800FP) when fully extended. 

*Note that the stand will be able to hold heavier loads when not fully extended (~around 8-10kg).

The wide base footprint of 1.24m also ensures that the stand remains stable and level on the ground even when extended higher, while the thick centre columns cause less shake/vibration when using the stand at an increased height.

*Note: Please consider the use of a sandbag to balance your stand if you are using larger accessories on your light like softboxes/umbrellas to reduce the risk of toppling.

The option to slot in the spigot at 90 degrees off (sideways) also gives you more possibilities in the angle the light is mounted onto the stand.

The air-cushioned feature built into the stand ensures that the centre columns do not slam/slide downwards freely when released - this movement is heavily slowed. This helps to reduce the risk of injury when adjusting the height of the stand or packing/unpacking.
