The Nikon SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander Unit serves as the central control hub for Nikon i-TTL multiple flash lighting setups. Designed for photographers using Nikon digital SLR cameras without a built-in Commander mode, it enables advanced wireless flash control without requiring a master Speedlight mounted on the camera.

Fully compatible with Nikon’s Creative Lighting System (CLS), the SU-800 wirelessly meters and triggers remote Speedlights while allowing precise, independent output control across multiple flash groups. Its compact design, intuitive LCD interface, and one-touch operation make it ideal for macro, studio, and location-based lighting setups.

Wireless Flash Control & Compatibility

Compatible Speedlights include the SB-R200, SB-910, SB-900, SB-800, SB-700, SB-600, SB-500, and SB-5000. When paired with i-TTL compatible Nikon digital SLR cameras, the SU-800 delivers accurate, automated exposure control for complex multi-light setups.

Close-Up Flash Operation

Designed with macro photography in mind, the SU-800 features dedicated close-up functionality that enables instant, automated i-TTL exposure for small subjects.
