Panasonic AJ-P2AD1G microP2 Memory Card Adapter

Overview

The Panasonic AJ-P2AD1G microP2 Memory Card Adapter allows microP2 cards to be used in full-size P2 card slots found in compatible Panasonic camcorders and decks. Because microP2 shares the same physical form factor as SD cards, the adapter can also accept many 4–128 GB Class 10 SDHC/SDXC cards, though certain recording modes are disabled when SD cards are used.

Supporting up to 1 Gb/s maximum read speed and 100 Mb/s write speed when paired with microP2 media, the adapter enables AVC-Intra100 recording (excluding 60p/50p). When using SDHC/SDXC cards, DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, and AVC-Intra50 formats are available, with write speeds up to 50 Mb/s. The adapter also includes CPS password protection and requires a firmware update for compatible P2 hardware.
