The Sony ECM-44BC is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone designed for broadcast, sound reinforcement, and recording applications. The condenser element features a compact profile allowing it to be easily concealed in performance and broadcast situations. The omnidirectional polar pattern provides even frequency and sensitivity response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule.
The ECM-44BC provides a wide frequency response of 40 Hz to 15 kHz for accurate reproduction of audio signal from a variety of sources. The attached 3.9' cable features a Sony SMC9-4P 4-pin locking jack for use with WL-800 beltpack transmitters such as the WRT-822 and WRT-8B. Phantom power is supplied via the connected bodypack transmitters. The ECM-44BC includes a windscreen, tie clip, and microphone case.
