The Mirage Pro Matte Box from Tilta is designed with flexibility in mind, supporting a range of lens sizes. This Starter Kit includes a 136mm backing, additional backings are sold separately with front diameters of 95mm, 110mm, 114mm, and 134mm, as well as photography lenses with adapters also sold separately (67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm filter thread adapters available). This compatibility allows filmmakers to use the same matte box across various setups, making it an efficient choice for both personal and professional gear collections.

The filter trays feature an independent safe locking mechanism, with each tray secured by a tie-down screw to prevent accidental disconnections. Whether you're adjusting exposure or manipulating light, this matte box ensures that your filters stay securely in place throughout the shoot.

It includes 1/4”-20 threads with locating points on the mounting location for the top flag, providing space for attaching accessories when the flag is not in use. Wireless ND Control for Dynamic Shooting

The Mirage Pro Matte Box’s VND Kit (Sold seperatly) features a 114mm Variable ND filter that adjusts from 1 to 7 stops, offering flexible control over exposure levels. The VND Kit also includes a rod adapter that supports wireless focus motors like the Nano 2 Motor, enabling seamless ND adjustments remotely—ideal for scenarios where the camera cannot be easily accessed, such as on a steadicam or crane.
