Next-Gen Stacked Sensor
The 26.1MP X-Trans 5 stacked BSI CMOS sensor delivers faster readout speeds, better low-light performance, and minimal rolling shutter distortion—ideal for high-speed stills and video. It offers a native ISO range of 160–12,800 and supports up to 14 stops of dynamic range.
High-Resolution Video Capabilities
Record internally in 6.2K 30p (3:2 open gate), 4K 120p, or Full HD 240p in 10-bit 4:2:2. The camera supports ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes RAW, Blackmagic RAW, and H.265 codecs. External RAW recording is available via full-size HDMI, with F-Log and F-Log 2 for grading flexibility.
Fast Continuous Shooting
Capture up to 40 fps using the electronic shutter or 15 fps mechanically, with a buffer of 140 uncompressed RAW frames. Dual card slots (CFexpress Type B + SD UHS-II) support high-bitrate and high-speed workflows.
AI Autofocus and Image Stabilization
Equipped with 425-point phase detection and deep learning AI, the AF system detects subjects including people, animals, birds, cars, planes, and more. In-body image stabilization offers up to 7 stops of shake reduction, plus digital stabilization for video.
Durable, Video-Ready Design
The body features a 5.76M-dot OLED EVF, a 3.0" vari-angle touchscreen, a top plate status screen, and cooling features for extended takes. Full-size HDMI, USB-C, mic/headphone ports, and wireless connectivity complete its professional toolset.

Constant f/1.8 Aperture
This fast APS-C zoom offers full-frame equivalent coverage of 25.5–60mm, ideal for cinematic depth of field and low-light shooting. The f/1.8 aperture remains constant throughout the entire zoom range.
Advanced Optics
With 17 elements in 11 groups, including four SLD and four aspherical elements, the lens achieves exceptional sharpness and contrast while minimizing flare and aberrations. The 11-blade rounded diaphragm produces smooth bokeh.
Video Optimized Design
Internal zoom maintains lens length and gimbal balance. Focus breathing is minimized, while the HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) AF system is silent and fast. Manual control is enhanced with an aperture ring and click/lock switches.
Built for Durability
Featuring weather-sealing, a water- and oil-repellent front element, and a durable brass mount, this lens is built for demanding environments and extended use in the field.
