Overview

The Godox V1mid F TTL On-Camera Flash is a compact yet powerful lighting solution designed for select FUJIFILM cameras with TTL automatic functionality. Developed as the little brother to the popular Godox V1 and sharing similarities with the V480, the V1mid F features a round flash head that delivers soft, even, and natural-looking light.

Offering up to 650 full-power flashes, a fast 1.7-second recycle time, and an integrated 2.4 GHz X wireless system, the V1mid F is well suited for photographers working in fast-changing lighting environments. A 2" touchscreen, flexible bounce control, and a rechargeable lithium battery make it a reliable on-camera and off-camera flash solution.

Uniform Light Quality & Flash Control

The V1mid F supports multiple flash modes, including TTL, manual, and multi-stroboscopic flash. Output power is adjustable from 1/256 to full power, allowing precise exposure control across a wide range of shooting conditions.

Additional features include first and second curtain sync, flash exposure compensation (FEC), multi flash mode, and high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec. Stable color temperature and consistent brightness are maintained even during high-speed continuous shooting.

Design & Handling

The round head design produces smooth light falloff and pleasing highlights, while the flash head offers excellent flexibility. It rotates 330° and tilts from -7° to 120°, making bounce flash easy in a wide variety of shooting scenarios.

Operation is simple and intuitive thanks to tactile buttons, a responsive 2" touchscreen interface, and a universal shoe-mounted design for reliable compatibility with supported FUJIFILM cameras.

2.4 GHz X Wireless Radio System

An integrated 2.4 GHz X wireless radio system enables wireless triggering and control, expanding the V1mid F beyond on-camera use. It is compatible with separately available Godox XPro II, X2T, X3, and X3Pro transmitters.

The system offers a wireless range of up to approximately 70 m, with support for 32 channels and five groups. In addition to hot shoe and wireless triggering, a 2.5 mm sync port allows for wired flash connections.

Battery Power & Performance

The V1mid F is powered by an included 7.2V 2200mAh lithium rechargeable battery, delivering up to 650 full-power flashes on a single charge. Flash duration ranges from 1/600 to 1/20,000 sec, supporting both action and low-light photography.

A built-in 2W LED modeling lamp with a 5300K color temperature (+/-200K) features adjustable brightness levels from 1 to 10, helping visualize lighting placement. Battery status is displayed on-screen, and charging is handled via the included USB-C cable and adapter.

For safety, the flash automatically increases recycle time after high-intensity continuous use to allow proper heat dissipation.

Some features vary by model. Sender flash and camera menu control are only available on the V1mid C version. Global shutter sync is exclusive to the V1mid S model. The V1mid S, F, and O versions do not support modeling flash.
