This filter offers 84% light transmittance, providing a soft, pastel-like quality of light. It offers more contrast and highlight reduction than the 1/8 density but less than the 1/2 density.
Build Quality
The filter is made of high-quality optical glass with 28 multicoated layers, making it waterproof, scratch resistant, and oilproof. It is encased in a slim, aviation-grade aluminum frame with machined grooves for easy handling.
