Overview
The waterproof, dustproof, and crushproof black 905 Hard Case with Foam from Nanuk is made from lightweight NK-7 polypropylene resin that protects and stores delicate compact gear like a camera, hard drives, binoculars, batteries, lenses, phones, or audio equipment. This version of the 905 is offered with a multilayer cubed foam insert in the 24 x 18.8 x 14 cm interior that makes it easy to customize to your specific needs or gear. For complete protection, the insert includes a convoluted eggcrate foam lid insert and a solid base layer for the bottom.
Core Features
Its molded-in bezel and gasket are held fast with two PowerClaw latches. This patented latch uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut to a waterproof and dustproof IP67 rating, with an integrated slide lock that prevents the case from opening during transport or if dropped. For additional security, there are two 0.8 cm diameter padlock holes integrated into the case and lid. The case features a built-in pressure relief valve that regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed during air travel and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. Further design features include an integrated lid stay that prevents the lid from closing on your hand, rustproof and strong stainless steel hardware, and a foldable soft-grip handle at the top. This case can be stacked with other Nanuk 905 cases for your convenience.
