The Blackmagic Design PYXIS Monitor is a high-brightness, 5-inch HDR touchscreen display built to extend the functionality of the Blackmagic PYXIS and URSA Cine cameras. More than a simple external display, it offers complete camera control through its intuitive touchscreen interface and robust metal housing.

Designed for professional use, it supports both on-camera and rig-mounted configurations, providing flexible options for monitoring and control in studio or on-location environments.

The included clip-on sunshade enhances visibility and protects the display during outdoor shoots.

Camera Control & Connectivity

The monitor connects via a single USB-C cable that handles power, video, and full camera control. Secure locking screws ensure a stable connection even in mobile setups. Users can access all Blackmagic PYXIS menu functions, metadata, and digital slate features directly from the HDR touchscreen.

Compatible with the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 (firmware 9.6 and above), the PYXIS Monitor expands its functionality across Blackmagic’s professional ecosystem.
