Overview

The Blackmagic Design PYXIS Monitor Kit is a versatile, high-brightness 5" HDR touchscreen designed for use with Blackmagic PYXIS and URSA Cine cameras. More than a display, it acts as a powerful camera control extension, allowing users to manage all camera functions directly from the screen.

With multiple mounting points, the monitor can serve as a large on-camera viewfinder or be rig-mounted for precise focus and framing. Its durable machined metal body and 1500 cd/m² brightness make it suitable for demanding professional environments, even in bright sunlight.

Users can access all PYXIS camera menus, settings, metadata, and slate tools directly from the touchscreen. Custom 3D LUTs can also be loaded for accurate color monitoring and cinematic workflows.

Mounting & Build

With multiple 1/4"-20 and M4 mounting points, the PYXIS Monitor can be attached as a viewfinder, assist station, or external monitor. The machined metal housing ensures rugged durability for field use, and its modular design supports easy integration with cages, rails, cranes, and gimbals for flexible setups.

Compatibility

The PYXIS Monitor is compatible with the Blackmagic PYXIS and URSA Cine camera systems. It also supports the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 with firmware 9.6 or higher.
