Light weight and a compact size makes the R300S SE the perfect traveling light. It is great for special purposes such as for use with a gimbal, where other lights don't fit or are too heavy.

The R300S SE can be whatever you need it to be: a ring light mounted around the lens, a soft off-camera light, a small portable softbox or lantern. With the new, extended L-bracket (sold separately), it can also be mounted to any DSLR, even when a battery grip is installed. Powered by AC or affordable NP-F batteries (both sold separately), the R300S SE is ready for any challenge.

Battery and AC Adapter Sold Separately

The New R-300S SE Bi-Color features 150 daylight-balanced LEDs and 150 tungsten-balanced LEDs that that can be seamlessly blended to create a white balance range spanning 3200K to 5600K. An onboard dimmer offers seamless power variation from 0-100%. At full daylight the light features 1187 lux at 1 meter, while full tungsten is 1044 lux at 1 meter. It has two power options: a Sony NP-F Battery Plate and a DC 2.5mm jack (DV Battery and AC Adapter sold separately).

The R-300S SE has a 50 degree beam-angle. Its slim profile and light weight make it a perfect companion for shoots in the studio or on location. The light is great for glamour, concert, events, and macro photography/videography.

The R-300S SE comes packaged with a Frost Diffusion Filter that takes the edge off the light's beam and also can serve as a gel holder. Sold Separately is the Milk White Diffusion filter which creates a very soft, glamorous, and easy-to-look-at light source.

New to the R-300S SE Ring Light is the included lens mount. The mounts allow you to directly attach the light to the filter thread on your lens. Included in the kit are adapter rings for 82mm, 77mm, 72mm, and 67mm filter threads. The R-300S SE also has a 1/4”-20 thread on the bottom which can be attached to articulating arms, spigots, or other mounting devices.

The R-300S SE comes with a compact carrying case that will protect the light during transit.

Note – This version of the R-300 SE does not come with the L-Bracket, battery, nor ac adapter. Also, due to the compact size of the carrying case there is not enough room to fit the L-Bracket or ACAdapter.
