This Double Rainbow Linear LED Light from Quasar Science is a 0.6 m RGBX light with versatile output options for creative and amazing results. It advances the design legacy of the Rainbow 2 tubular form factor by doubling the lamp width, but retains a low-profile shape so it can fit in all the same tight spaces. The expanded RGBX color profile allows seamless color matching, full gamut mixing, and a variety of available light effects. The high CRI, TLCI, and SSI ratings mean that colors and skin tones will be rendered faithfully in any setting, and the lights are passively cooled, providing silent operation.

The LED lamp is compatible with the Swaptics Interchangeable lens system light modifier accessories, and the integrated Ossium Mounting System (OMS) allows for rigging in ways previously unobtainable.

Color Control

The perceptually distributed color palette created by advanced color science research provides artists instinctual lighting control. In addition, Spectral Control, a new technical and creative tool, provides artists complete control over any color's spectral fingerprint.

Color Science

The RGBX Spectral Science Color Engine produces spectrally based color calibration for more than one billion available colors, with output up to two times brighter than similar products.

Quality White Light

Double Rainbow white light output conforms to illumination standards used by camera sensors. From 1750 to 10,000K, Quasar Science calibrates all CCT spectrums to their TM-30 reference illuminants, producing white light with high color rendition (SSI up to 91, TM30 up to 94, CRI up to 95) to ensure the best photographic quality. CCT control provides an equal amount of color change throughout the entire Kelvin range.

Mounting and Compatibility

Ossium System Compatibility

Designed specifically for Quasar Science, the Ossium Mounting System pushes the boundaries of light placement while integrating seamlessly with industry standards for safer and faster rigging, with greater precision. A slender, secure rail along the length of the rear of the LED light provides multiple mounting points to accommodate any specific rigging need.

Swaptics Light Modifiers

The LED lamp is compatible with the separately available Swaptics Interchangeable lens system light modifier accessories.

External Battery Compatibility

Compatibility with a wide range of industry standard batteries that can be mounted on separately available Ossium battery plates makes swapping batteries seamless. An external battery prevents the need for duplicate lights waiting on stand-by and eliminates associated shipping restrictions. Compatible with batteries from 12-30 VDC.

Quasar Science Ossium Battery Plate

The Ossium Battery Plate from Quasar Science attaches to an Ossium Rail or Slider, allowing the lights attached to them to run on V-Mount batteries when AC power is unavailable.

Quasar Science Ossium Rotator

Sold separately in the Ossium Mounting System is the Ossium Rotator, which acts as a mini-grip head, giving you the most flexibility in positioning your lights or batteries. When you screw it directly to the Rail, Slider, or even the Battery Plate, it allows you to attach your batteries to any 5/8" or 3/8" rod. Attaching two Rotator Blocks back to back offers two swivel points on two separate axes.

Quasar Science Ossium Magnets (2-Pack)

Use these Ossium Magnets (2-pack) from Quasar Science to turn any ferrous metal surface into a rigging point. Useful for warehouses and sound stages, the magnets are fitted with 1/4"-20 threads and sturdily attach to the Ossium rail or slider.

Quasar Science 0.6 m Double Rainbow Double Light Kit Case with Foam

The 0.6 m Double Rainbow Double Light Kit Case with Foam from Quasar Science is dedicated to the Double Rainbow Double Kit with 0.6 m LED tube lights. The interior foam insert holds all the kit contents in place during transport or storage. Made of durable, waterproof, polypropylene copolymer resin, this case can be checked as baggage for air travel and may be secured with user-supplied padlocks.
