SmallRig HawkLock Cage Kit for R5 II Overview

The SmallRig 5029 HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit is designed to enhance handheld shooting stability, portability, and accessory expansion for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II. This comprehensive kit includes a cage, USB-C & HDMI cable clamps, and the HawkLock quick-release handle, combining functionality with the sleek "Black Mamba" style.

Quick Release Interfaces

Equipped with HawkLock quick-release interfaces, the kit features the H21 quick-release NATO rail, H18 quick-release cold shoe mount, and H38 Arca-Swiss quick-release plate. It also includes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded and locating holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, cold shoe mounts, NATO rails, QD interfaces, and strap slots, allowing for versatile attachment of monitors, microphones, tripods, follow focus systems, handles, and other accessories.

Secure Camera Mounting

The cage secures the camera with a single 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two side locating blocks, incorporating built-in silicone pads to prevent scratches. The built-in Arca-Swiss quick-release plate enables seamless mounting on Arca-type tripods (ID4353,4060) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, allowing for quick transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups.

Ergonomic Handle and Cable Management

The ergonomic HawkLock quick-release handle, with silicone padding, ensures a comfortable and stable handheld shooting experience. The HDMI & USB-C cable clamps securely fasten with a single thumbscrew to prevent signal interruptions and ensure stable transmission.

Durable Screen Protector

The cage comes with a durable, scratch-resistant tempered glass screen protector featuring a surface hardness of 9H and an IK03 impact resistance rating, offering additional protection for your camera's screen.

Note

• Remove the side locating blocks on both sides of the cage before mounting.
• The tempered glass screen protector is designed slightly smaller than the screen edges to prevent dust ingress, which is a normal design feature.
