Zacuto GH5/GH5S Basic Cage

Overview

The Zacuto Basic Cage for Panasonic GH5/GH5S/GH5 II is a lightweight and compact "no-cage" cage, compatible with Zacuto's Arca Swiss - The 'Polaris'. It offers a secure and comfortable grip with a Zacuto camera hand strap and allows easy access to all camera controls while maintaining a small and light form factor.

Mounting & Compatibility

The top of the cage includes numerous 1/4"-20 threads for mounting accessories and a built-in Z-Rail for an optional top handle. The bottom features 2 1/4"-20 threads and a 3/8" 16 thread for a tripod plate, along with a built-in Arca Swiss compatible plate for quick release mounting.

If you’d like to add rods, you can slide the cage into the Polaris Baseplate to build a shoulder rig.
