Overview

This frame is designed for small-bodied DSLRs with 3.2” screens, such as the Canon 5D MIII and Nikon D800. It is not compatible with cameras using a battery grip. The frame must be used with the Gorilla plate for optimal performance.

Compatibility

This frame is specifically for small-bodied DSLRs with 3.2” screens. It will not work with battery grips. We are developing frames for tall-bodied cameras and adhesive frames for 3.2” screens.

Installation & Usage

Frame Attachment

The Z-Finder Aircraft Aluminum Frame attaches to the Gorilla plate with two thumb screws. The Gorilla plate is secured to the bottom of your camera. The frame has a rubber coating that presses against the LCD screen.

Z-Finder Connection

The connection between the Z-Finder and frame is a snap fit, allowing for quick transitions between video and photos. To remove the frame, undo the thumb screws and slide it off.

Additional Information

Note: If you already own a Z-Finder, it will work with this 3.2” Frame. Packages are available for those who do not own a Z-Finder.
