The SmallRig Cage Kit for Canon EOS R50 V (Black) 5766 enhances handling, expands accessory mounting options, and provides robust protection for the Canon EOS R50 V. Designed as a complete handheld solution, the kit integrates a secure full cage, ergonomic silicone grip, NATO top handle, detachable cold shoe mount, and a cable clamp for reliable HDMI and USB-C connection support.

Secure & Stable Camera Mounting

The cage attaches to the camera using two 1/4"-20 screws—one at the base and one at the side—to ensure a solid, deflection-free fit. Internal silicone pads safeguard the camera body from scratches, while the molded silicone handgrip significantly improves comfort and stability during handheld shooting.

Mounting Options & Accessory Expansion

The cage provides extensive mounting interfaces to support a wide range of accessories. Expansion points include multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, built-in locating points, a cold shoe mount, strap slots, and a QD socket. These allow seamless integration of optional handles, microphones, lights, shoulder straps, wrist straps, and other rig components.

High Compatibility

Compatible accessories include SmallRig handles (ID 3765, 4015), microphones (ID 3468), video lights (ID 4660, 4786), shoulder straps (ID 4882), and wrist straps (ID 4881). The detachable cold shoe mount can be positioned on any 1/4"-20 locating hole, allowing flexible accessory placement based on shooting needs.

Top Handle for Enhanced Handling

The included NATO Top Handle offers improved control for low-angle shots and provides additional mounting points for monitors, accessories, and lightweight components. With integrated 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI anti-twist threads, as well as cold shoe mounts, the handle extends the layout possibilities of the cage while maintaining a lightweight, durable build.

Integrated Arca-Swiss Base

The cage features a built-in Arca-Swiss quick release plate compatible with Arca-type tripods (ID 4059) and DJI RS stabilizers. This allows fast transitions between handheld operation, tripod setups, and gimbal-based shooting without needing to change plates.

Unobstructed Camera Operation
