The SmallRig 6027 HawkLock Cage Kit for Sony a7 V, a7R V & a7 IV is a professional-grade cage kit designed for comprehensive camera protection and flexible accessory mounting. This complete kit includes a HawkLock Quick Release Cage, HawkLock H21 Top Handle, HawkLock NATO rail, and HDMI cable clamp, offering a ready-to-use rig for handheld, low-angle, and tripod setups.

The cage maintains full access to camera controls, battery, and hot shoe, while the HawkLock system enables fast attachment of compatible top handles, side handles, or monitor mounts. An integrated Arca-type quick release plate allows seamless transitions to tripods or DJI RS-series gimbals.

Top Handle

This kit includes the HawkLock H21 Quick Release Top Handle for enhanced grip, balance, and accessory mounting. The handle mounts on the cage's HawkLock rail, allowing side-to-side sliding adjustment, secure locking, and quick release.

It features two built-in cold shoes, multiple 1/4"-20 anti-twist threads along the shaft, and HawkLock-style male mounts on each end for additional clamp accessories. The handle supports camera rig loads up to 15 kg and is constructed from durable aluminum and steel.

Mounting & Expansion

The cage provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI threads, a QD socket, strap slots, and a HawkLock NATO rail for easy accessory attachment. Compatible with other HawkLock accessories such as side handles, top handles, and monitor mounts for complete rig customization.

Design & Handling
