Overview
The SmallRig 5962 L-Shaped Mount Plate with AirTag Slot for Canon EOS R6 Mark III / R6 Mark II / R5 Mark II is engineered for seamless transitions between horizontal and vertical shooting, while providing Apple AirTag compatibility for camera tracking.
The plate secures the camera with a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and two anti-twist locating pins, while built-in silicone pads protect against scratches. For vertical shooting, the included cold shoe locating block stabilizes the side plate, supporting microphones, LED lights, wireless transmitters, flashes, and other lightweight accessories.
The side plate extends 22.5mm (0.9in) for improved cable management, and a cutout allows the rear screen to tilt up to 95° without obstruction. Full access to all camera controls, ports, and battery compartment is maintained. Multiple mounting points—including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, QD socket, cold shoe mount, and strap slots—enable attachment of QD shoulder straps, microphones, and tripods for versatile shooting setups.
The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate is compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS / RSC gimbals. A magnetic wrench stored in the base facilitates quick assembly and adjustments.
