Imaging & Lens
The ZV-1 is equipped with a ZEISS 24–70mm-equivalent f/1.8–2.8 lens that captures both wide-angle and standard perspectives. Combined with Active SteadyShot image stabilization, it produces smooth, shake-free footage even when walking or holding the camera in hand. Background Defocus and Face Priority AE allow creators to isolate subjects with beautiful bokeh and perfect exposure, while Real-Time Eye AF and Real-Time Tracking ensure sharp focus on moving subjects, including humans and animals.
Video & Creative Tools
This camera records UHD 4K video at 30p with S-Log3/2 and HLG picture profiles for cinematic color and dynamic range. It also supports Full HD slow motion up to 120 fps and super slow motion via HFR up to 960 fps. Photo Capture allows extracting high-quality stills from video. Creative tools include Product Showcase Setting, Soft Skin Effect, Step Zoom presets, interval shooting for time-lapses, and a Bokeh switch for instant shallow depth-of-field effects. The camera is also compatible with vertical video metadata for social media-ready content.
Audio & Connectivity
The built-in directional 3-capsule microphone captures clear audio with a windscreen for outdoor use. External microphones can be connected via the 3.5mm mic port or Multi Interface Shoe. The ZV-1 supports USB-C live streaming and webcam functionality with UVC/UAC standards, smartphone livestream monitoring, and wireless control via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with the Imaging Edge Mobile app. It also works with the optional GP-VPT2BT Wireless Shooting Grip for enhanced control.
