Vlogging Features
The ZV-E10 is optimized for solo creators. Its 3.0" 921.6k-dot side flip-out touchscreen makes framing natural and intuitive. The directional 3-capsule microphone captures high-quality audio and works with the included wind screen for outdoor use. Advanced audio setups are supported through 3.5mm microphone and headphone ports, while the Multi Interface Shoe allows compatible digital microphones to connect without extra cables or power.
Front tally lamps and red border frames on the LCD indicate recording status, and live streaming is possible via USB using UVC/UAC standards for high-quality video and audio.
Product Showcase mode makes focus transitions between faces and objects smooth, Face-Priority AE ensures proper exposure even in challenging lighting, and Background Defocus isolates your subject with a shallow depth of field. Active SteadyShot keeps handheld video smooth, and vertical metadata tagging allows seamless vertical video playback on smartphones.
Image Quality, Autofocus, and Video
The camera’s 24.2MP APS-C sensor delivers clean, detailed images with minimal noise, even in low light. Its size enables greater depth of field control than 1" or smartphone sensors, providing professional-looking results. Paired with the BIONZ X processor, it supports 11 fps continuous shooting with AF/AE and 14-bit RAW output.
The 425-point Fast Hybrid AF system combines phase-detection and contrast-detection for fast, accurate focusing across 84% of the frame. Real-time Eye AF for humans and animals ensures precise focus, while AI-based real-time tracking keeps moving subjects sharply in focus.
Video recording includes UHD 4K 30p with full pixel readout and 6K oversampling, Full HD up to 120 fps for slow-motion, and S-Log2/S-Log3 and HLG gamma curves for flexible color grading. Slow & Quick (S&Q) mode and interval shooting support creative time-lapses and speed adjustments.

Physical Design and Connectivity
The ZV-E10 is compact and designed for one-handed use, with a large grip and intuitive control layout. The integrated zoom lever works with compatible Power Zoom lenses, and the vari-angle LCD powers off automatically when closed. Dedicated buttons provide instant access to Movie Record, Background Defocus, Product Showcase, and S&Q modes.
Power comes from the NP-FW50 battery, supporting up to 440 shots or 125 minutes of recording, with USB-C or optional AC adapter charging. Built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enable live view, remote control, instant image transfer, and online sharing. Compatibility with the Movie Edit add-on and GP-VPT2BT Wireless Shooting Grip adds further flexibility.

The Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II Lens offers a 24-75mm full-frame equivalent zoom in a compact retractable design. Its Optical SteadyShot and fast autofocus keep handheld and moving subjects sharp. Four aspherical and one Extra-Low Dispersion element ensure high-resolution results, and the lens supports focus pulling up to 120 fps. Retracting to just 3.2 cm, it’s ideal for portable use and single-person filming.
