Retro Design, Modern Optics

A vintage short-telephoto prime suited for portraits, the Simera 75mm f/1.4 ASPH Lens from Thypoch is a manual focus optic designed for full-frame Leica M-mount camera systems. The aperture de-click switch located on the barrel allows for seamless transitions between smooth and clicked operation, making this lens well-suited for videography and photography alike. Crafted with precision, the optical design utilizes one aspherical lens, two HRI lenses, and two ED lenses for controlling chromatic aberration and lens flare while also providing improved contrast and sharpness from the center to the edges of your frame. An f/1.4 maximum aperture combined with 16 aperture blades enables this lens to create aesthetically pleasing bokeh and unique starburst effects when stopped down. Additionally, a focus range from 60.96 cm to infinity is provided.

Modern Ergonomics

Aperture ring features de-click switch marked with sun and moon symbols for alternating between smooth and clicking aperture adjustment. Focus ring featuring subtle resistance at 0.7m to remind users to shift from rangefinder to EVF focusing.

Pure Bokeh

Featuring the same optical design as the Simera-C 75mm T1.5 cinema lens, a distinctive and cinematic image style is present throughout the images produced by this lens. The incorporated aspherical technology helps to virtually eliminate any "onion rings" from appearing in the bokeh, creating a smoother and more pleasing overall quality.
