7Artisans 10mm f/2.5 AF MAX Fisheye Lens (Sony E)

Overview

The 7Artisans 10mm f/2.5 AF MAX Fisheye Lens (Sony E) is a full-frame autofocus fisheye lens built for Sony E mount mirrorless cameras, pairing a 10mm focal length with a bright f/2.5 to f/16 aperture range and a sweeping 185° angle of view. Built around 11 elements in 8 groups, including 1 ASPH and 2 ED elements, the optical formula is designed to control distortion and maintain clarity from corner to corner even at this extreme angle. A 9-blade diaphragm rounds out the optical package, producing smooth focus fall-off and pleasant out-of-focus rendering despite the lens's ultra-wide character.

Unlike many fisheye lenses that rely on manual focus, the AF MAX incorporates autofocus, making it well suited to filming action sports, vlogging, and other fast-moving subjects where you need to keep tracking a subject without constant manual adjustment. A minimum focus distance of 15cm lets you get in close for exaggerated, dramatic perspectives, while the all-metal construction and clicked aperture ring bring a level of tactile precision and durability suited to regular handheld use in the field.
