Overview

The Anker SOLIX S2000 Portable Power Station is a 2000 Wh unit built on 314Ah LFP cells rated for 10,000 charge cycles. It delivers 1500 W of pure sine wave AC power through four NZ outlets and weighs 16.2 kg, so it suits caravans, campervans, 4WD setups and home backup.

Low idle consumption, six charging options and fast UPS switchover suit anyone who wants long runtimes from a compact unit, whether that means a weekend off-grid or keeping the modem and fridge on during an outage.

Long-Life LFP Battery

The 2000 Wh battery uses 314Ah LFP cells rated for 10,000 cycles, with an estimated lifespan of around 15 years when cycled once or twice a day. That makes it a battery you can lean on every day rather than one kept for emergencies, and the cycle rating is quoted to 60% or more of the original capacity.

Pure Sine Wave Output

The 1500 W pure sine wave output runs everyday appliances such as car fridges, coffee machines and laptops without fuss. When you need a little more headroom, bypass mode passes through up to 2300 W. As a UPS it switches over in 10 ms or less, so a modem or fridge keeps running when the power drops.

Six Ways to Recharge

You can charge from the wall, from solar, from AC and solar together, from a car socket, from an alternator charger or from a generator. Wall charging runs at 1150 W by default and up to 1600 W in UltraFast Mode, which is switched on in the Anker app. The XT60i port accepts up to 400 W of solar input, so a panel setup can keep it topped up off-grid.

Anker App Control

The Anker app adds remote monitoring, Time-of-Use mode, charging ahead of severe weather and over-the-air firmware updates. Standby consumption is low as well, with 10 W drawn at idle with the AC on and 2 W in system standby, so it can sit ready for a power cut without draining itself.
