Overview

The Autocue Pioneer Teleprompting 1-Year Software License gives broadcast studios a full year of professional prompting control from a simple USB stick. Import, write, and save scripts from multiple platforms, then manage run order, shortcuts, and bookmarks to keep a live broadcast flowing smoothly. The software integrates into your existing studio setup and outputs to HDMI, NDI, and IP sources, including iPads and IP converters, all from a Windows computer.

Familiar Layout and Fast Start-Up

Pioneer uses familiar icons and layouts so operators can find their way around quickly. Multiple scripts can be imported, written, and saved at once, with font and text colour changes and a tab system for switching between files.

Broadcast-Level Production Tools

• Shortcuts, bookmarks, and a run order manager keep segments organised.
• Settings for Sound on Tape (SOTs) and presenter instructions are built in.
• An on-screen cue timer and message modules improve communication between the control room and talent.

Unlimited Connections and Controllers

Three prompter connection types are supported: HDMI, NDI, and IP for iPads and IP converters. Each connection can be configured within the settings, with image inversion available as needed, and unlimited controllers can be connected to switch freely between hand and foot units.

PowerPoint Prompting

Pioneer supports PowerPoint uploads and automatically builds a script from the slide notes, with slide previews shown to the presenter alongside the text. The slideshow can be set as a second output that switches automatically as the presenter reaches each section.

Newsroom Compatibility

MOS and shared-directory newsroom systems are supported, including ENPS, Octopus, Dalet, TinkerList, and OpenMedia, allowing live script edits to flow directly into the prompter.
