Overview

The Blackmagic Design Top Rod Mount for URSA Cine is the official Blackmagic Design accessory for adding 15mm rod support to the top of the URSA Cine camera body. Designed to integrate directly with the URSA Cine without modification, it gives camera operators and focus pullers a secure, rigid mounting point for top-of-rig accessories including monitors, wireless receivers, follow focus motors, and matte box arms.

Purpose-Built Rod Geometry

Unlike universal rod mounts that require shimming or adapter plates, this mount is engineered to the exact geometry of the URSA Cine body. It attaches securely to the camera's top surface and provides a standard 15mm rod interface that accepts the full range of industry-standard 15mm LWS accessories, creating a clean, rattle-free connection that holds position under the torque of motorized follow focus systems and the weight of larger on-board monitors.

Durable Metal Alloy Construction

The mount is machined from metal alloy for the rigidity needed to keep top-mounted accessories stable during handheld operation, gimbal use, and vehicle-mounted shots. Its black anodized finish matches the URSA Cine body and resists scratching and corrosion through extended production use.
