Overview
The Blackmagic Design Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G (with Power Supply) is a pocket sized signal converter built for connecting professional SDI equipment to HDMI input monitors and televisions on set or in the studio. It takes a single SD/HD/3G-SDI input and outputs HDMI, while also providing an SDI loop output so the source signal can continue on to other equipment. Housed in a sturdy metal shell with automatic SD, HD, and Level A/B SDI detection, it supports a wide range of professional broadcast resolutions including cine style 48 fps, making it a practical bridge between SDI centric production gear and HDMI equipped displays.
3D LUT Video Calibration
A built in 3D LUT lets you calibrate the colour of an HDMI or SDI input monitor, with the LUT also available for viewing via the SDI loop output. This makes it easy to keep colour consistent across HDMI displays being fed from an SDI production chain.
Wide Broadcast Resolution Support
The converter automatically detects and matches SD, HD, and Level A/B SDI signals, supporting SDI resolutions up to DCI 2Kp60 and HDMI output up to 1080p60. It handles a broad range of professional frame rates, including cine style 48 fps, so it fits comfortably into most broadcast and production workflows.
Compact, Rugged Metal Housing
A robust metal housing and rugged connector interfaces make this converter suited to daily use in the field or on set. Its pocket sized footprint means it can be tucked into a bag or mounted alongside a monitor without adding noticeable bulk.

Embedded audio is supported over both the HDMI input and SDI output, so audio carried in the source signal passes through automatically. LED indicators on the housing show video and power signal status at a glance, making it easy to confirm the unit is operating correctly.
