Overview

The Godox Translucent Umbrella (84cm) is a versatile light modifier that spreads a light source's beam and increases coverage while lowering contrast for a softer look. It can be used in the traditional bounce style or "shot through" by aiming the convex side at the subject, much like a softbox, and its neutral white construction keeps colour rendition accurate.

Bounce or Shoot-Through Versatility

Use the umbrella in the traditional reflective bounce position, or turn it around and shoot through the translucent white fabric for softer, more diffused light, similar to working with a softbox.
