Meking L-2400FP Overview

This aluminum Meking L-2400FP Light Stand rises to a height of 2400mm and folds down to 840mm. The stand has sure-twist section locks and 4 sections and will support up to 3kg at the maximum height. The stand will be able to hold heavier loads around 5kg when not fully extended.

Design and Portability

The L/LT series light stands are Meking’s standard stands designed to hold small to medium-sized lights with accessories. These lightweight stands can be folded down for easy transportation to various locations.

Versatile Mounting Options

With a double-sided spigot mount, this series of light stands can accommodate regular continuous lights and strobes while also allowing for any other models with a female 1/4” or 3/8” screw thread to be mounted. The option to slot in the spigot at a 90-degree angle also provides more possibilities for positioning the light.

Safety Features

The air-cushioned feature built into the stand ensures that the center columns do not slam or slide downwards freely when released—this movement is heavily slowed. This helps to reduce the risk of injury when adjusting the height of the stand or during packing/unpacking. If you forget to tighten any section with your light mounted, the light slowly descends, thanks to the air-cushioned action. This useful feature protects both your equipment and fingers during busy photo sessions.

Usage Note

We recommend using a sandbag to balance your stand if you are using larger accessories on your light, such as softboxes or umbrellas, to reduce the risk of toppling.
