Overview

The NANLITE Para 90 Quick-Open Softbox with Bowens Mount is a 90cm, 16-sided parabolic light shaper ideal for portrait or fashion work, producing a soft yet focused output with a punchy, crisp edge that adds dimension and detail to your subject. Its parabolic depth creates significant falloff at the field edge for enhanced directional control, reduced spill light, and easy feathering, while natural-looking catchlights form in your subject's eyes. A Bowens Type-S speed ring and a carrying bag are both included, and the softbox is built to be compatible with Nanlite's Forza Series LEDs as well as a wide range of other LED, strobe, and constant light sources.

Multiple Diffusion Options

Included 1-stop and 2-stop front diffusers can be used together, one at a time, or removed entirely, giving you several levels of contrast from soft and even to punchy and high-contrast.

Fast Setup and Break Down

A quick-open speed ring with spring-loaded rod locks lets you snap the rods into place to set the softbox up, then release them at the touch of a button to break it down again.

Optional Fabric Grid

An optional fabric grid, sold separately, mounts via touch-fasteners to narrow the beam angle to 60 degrees, concentrating the light forward for more control over spill and directionality.
