Nikon NIKKOR Z 24mm f/1.8 S Lens + Lens Bundle Discount

Overview

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24mm f/1.8 S Lens is a versatile wide-angle prime built for full-frame Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, well suited to landscape, architecture, and reportage work. An advanced optical layout incorporates a series of aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to produce sharp, well-corrected imagery with a high degree of clarity, while Nano Crystal and Super Integrated Coatings suppress flare and ghosting for greater color fidelity and higher contrast.

Complementing the optics, a multi-focus system employing two stepping motors delivers fast, accurate, and quiet autofocus performance with full-time manual focus override, suiting both stills and video work. A bright f/1.8 maximum aperture suits difficult lighting conditions and offers increased control over depth of field, while a programmable control ring adds intuitive adjustment of camera and exposure settings.

Bright f/1.8 Wide-Angle Performance

A bright f/1.8 maximum aperture suits working in difficult lighting conditions and offers increased control over depth of field for a range of subjects.

Sharp, Well-Corrected Optics

• One extra-low dispersion element greatly reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and color rendering.
• Four aspherical elements reduce spherical aberrations and distortion to realize sharp imagery with accurate rendering.
• A Nano Crystal Coat and a Super Integrated Coating minimize surface and internal reflections for a marked reduction in lens flare and ghosting.

Fast Dual Stepping Motor Autofocus

A multi-focus system incorporating two synchronized AF drive units delivers especially fast and accurate focusing performance, using stepping motors for smooth and quiet autofocus suited to both stills and video. Full-time manual focus override is also possible, and an internal focusing design keeps the lens' overall length constant while promoting faster focusing speeds.

Programmable Control Ring

By default set to adjust manual focus, the programmable control ring can also be configured to control aperture or exposure compensation for intuitive, on-the-fly adjustment.

Weather-Sealed for Reliable Field Use

A dust- and moisture-resistant lens barrel benefits use in inclement conditions, while a specialized electromagnetic aperture mechanism provides greater exposure control stability, especially beneficial when working with fast continuous shooting rates.
